Senior Acoustic Engineer / Project Manager


LMM Engineering is a specialized consultancy providing engineering, planning, design, and analysis services to private and public sector clients throughout the province.

The primary duties of this position include; completing noise & vibration studies from data collection to report preparation, assist in proposal preparation, presentations, participate in client meetings, public information meetings and hearings, field / site visits, data collection, and communicate with various public agencies, maintaining good client relationships, mentoring and development of junior staff.

Qualifications:


  • 5-10 years related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in completing noise and vibration studies for a variety of different types of land uses. 
  • Experience in conducting field measurements of noise and vibration measurements. 
  • Proficiency in CadnaA, and STAMSON. 
  • Good understanding of all Ministry of Environment (MOE) guidelines and procedures related to acoustical engineering in land development. 
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), 
  • High level of professionalism, customer service, energy, speed and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
  • Resourceful, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Exercises initiative in adapting procedures to address unusual problems and resolves conflict
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work and complete assigned tasks independently and with minimal supervision, often remotely
  • P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) or ability to obtain P.Eng. within one year.
